Bamboo is a typeface I created. The type forms were inspired by the structure of bamboos.

These are samples from my type specimen that I created to accompany the typeface.

Overexpose is a conceptual film photography magazine created for a university project.

In this issue, Overexpose looks into the revival of Kodak and the resurgence of film photography, featuring various articles, interviews, and a showcase of photographs taken with Kodak film.

A pitch document was also created alongside the magazine, which explains the design choices in more detail.

Branding and packaging design for KIN Eggs

A publication of Margaret Atwood-inspired works submitted by Part 3 English Literature students of University of Reading.

I worked alongside Dr. Madeleine Davies who edited the students’ entries, while I designed, copyedited, and typeset the entirety of the book. Over 100 copies of the book were printed and published by the University, a few of which were sent to Margaret Atwood herself.

A second print run was done due to popular demand.

Winner of Oxford University Press’ design competition

This textbook cover design has since then been modified by Oxford University Press (OUP) for publication and retail.

A small team of us worked on running the Department of Typography & Graphic Communication Degree Show 2019, which exhibited the work our graduating year have done during the three years of our degree.

The show was titled ‘—brace the Space’, playing on the uses of en and em dashes to replace those letters in words. This was to portray our typography-centered learning, and how it has been (literally) integrated into our works. This concept also demonstrates how as designers, we have embraced the literal space and environment of which we have been growing from, as well as embracing and respecting the space in which we design. This concept and branding was translated into our invitations, wayfinding, website, social media posts, and other collateral.
